When I first saw this in your IRC channel but couldn’t find it in the main site, I thought you haven’t posted here it to reduce the chance of falling in trouble with Funimation (or any other God damn US publisher who has licensed/will license this) but now it’s here. I just wish they don’t make you trouble.

I don’t think they can do that. As far as I know Eden of the East has not officially started being released by FUNimation (the people doing the dub) [Hell it was recently picked up by FUNi in the first place]. This is most likely the BD rip from the BD that came out in Japan, so forget about it being English Audio cause there isn’t any.

Not to come off as demanding, but have you given up on ef – melodies? That project has been stagnating in the corner for a couple months now and all its episodes came out in blu-ray ages ago. Also, its an AMAZING anime <3

Awesome! This was definitely one of the better shows that I’ve seen this year. I’m a bit surprised that you aren’t using frostii’s subs for this though, as from what I remember they had the best TLs (at least for the first couple episodes, after that I didn’t really watch any other group’s Eden releases). I’ll give these a watch anyways, and in the worst case, I guess I can always figure out how to swap the scripts with the frostii ones, although I am hoping that these ones will be improved from the original gg subs.
Anyways, thanks very much for the release!

MaxDOL: Umm, not sure exactly what media info you are looking for. If you just want to know if it’s 720p or 1080p, it says that right up in the release info: “Video: 1920×1080, 23.976 fps, x264, ~5000 kbps”. So it’s 1080p.
Did you just miss that or were you looking for more detailed info on the encodes?

I didn’t notice but now I’m wondering how the lyrics of the OP got messed up. As far as I can recall they were correct in gg’s release.

in 99,99% (maybe even 100%) of cases there’s nothing wrong with thora’s encodes. I’ve played ep 7 1080p and it works fine in Media Player Classic, so it’s probably on your side. You should try CCCP + CoreAVC 2.0. Also use MPC, forget VLC.
